SO live ’12

After playing the Hendrix repetoire for over a year now, and dealing with some line-up changes, Scallymatic Orchestra is finishing up the album. Recordings are done, mixing is in progress. The album release is due in October 2012 on Flyin’ High Records.

In the mean time the band acquired a new singer. The brilliant Soul Mack will be on the mic during future Scallymatic shows. Working as a warehouseman for a ladies underware trader during the day, he sings like a star when he’s on stage at night. This man has a classic soul voice which fits seamless with the arrangements Mathijs Duringhof made of the original Jimi Hendrix songs. So stay tuned, it’s gonna be worthwhile.
