In the middle of their tour for Jazzimpuls, State of Monc was invited to attend The Java Jazzfestival. In the first week of March, State of Monc will play five shows in Jakarta, Indonesia. With the new season coming up it’s now time to put some of the Music & More related bands in the spotlight. Currently we’re sending out a lot of copies to venues and festivals we think our artists would really fit in. However, if you didn’t receive a copy yet but you think you should, please let us know. On one very brisk wintery morning in Dordrecht The Vipertones and Laura dragged their very sleepy and cold asses into action for their first official video shoot. Now we all know how much the guys and Laura like to prat about in front of the camera in the studio for you. BUT this time they thought they ought to give you something a bit glossier. You know, a bit more... bling. So here it is: the first official video for 'Am I Dreaming?'.

State of Monc openend this year with a sold out show at BIMhuis, Amsterdam. The legendary concert room was fully packed with almost 400 very enthusiastic people.

The show was recorded by the VPRO and broadcasted live on radio 6. Here you can listen to the concert, and watch some tracks on video.

Artvark Saxophone Quartet on Opium TV. With special attention by John Buijsman [in Dutch] for the CD presentation of the Artvark Saxophone Quartet in co-oporation with Kees van Kooten.

The new album of Artvark "TRuffles" is disc we are really proud of. It's a swinging album that was recorded in the beautiful Fattoria Musica Studio in Osnabrück, Germany. They describe themselves as a saxophone quartet where all the dust has been whiped of.

On Sunday 10th of January 2010 Artvark presented their long awaited album 'Truffles'. The presentation has been held in 'De Unie' in Rotterdam. Writer/actor John Buijsman visited the CD presentation of their new CD "Truffles", which was a special collaboration with Dutch celebrity and writer/actor Kees van Kooten. Watch the footage here

After a very successful gig by The Soul Snatchers last month at the Ghetto Club, it’s now time for AIFF to visit Istanbul and play the roof off as part of the 'Amsterdam Night Watch' series.

If you’re from Istanbul or happen to be around come over the Ghetto Club on Friday 23rd of January. Especially if you’re into Afrobeat mixed with some funky flavours and you like massive horns. Than it's definitely time to get on your dancin' shoes and get your a** over!
